KS2 Maths: The Study Book by CGP: Book review

CGP maths book review

cgp1KS2 Maths: Study Book Pt. 1 & 2 (Study Books)

Just one of a great collection of primary maths books. They also do Science and English; with the Science probably being the best of all. Popular with schools as well as parents – many schools are recommending it as a revision guide, which is a pretty fair description of it. Full of good humour ( the jokes aren’t bad if you are 10 years old) and colourful explanations. Probably the biggest drawback is that there is a limited amount of work to actually do. Think of it more as a guide on how to do maths rather than a practice book. Having said that, they pack an awful lot into 112 pages and I have yet to find anything better in book format for Key Stage 2 tests. If you need lots of practice then the companion book KS2 Maths Question Book at £3.50 would be a good buy.

Currently at £4.50 ( a little less on Amazon) you could do a lot worse than invest in a copy.
