Can you picture a tonne of something? Not many people can do this but this worksheet tries to give some help. A tonne of water would fit exactly into a metre cube container!
What is the difference between mass and weight?
Most of the time in everyday English we use the term weight when we really mean mass. Confusing? Then take a look at the second maths worksheet which explains that your weight can change depending where you are, but your mass remains constant.
