jojo in numberland graphicJojo In Numberland – Multiplication & Division

Help! Jojo has lost Bobbin and he needs to get him back from the evil kidnapper, Shiver!

Great idea, great animations and incredibly loud sound! Correct answers gain rewards. Rewards lead to more fun surprises.

There are four multiplication tasks:

repeated addition

counting in patterns of numbers

groups of

using the multiplication sign

The division tasks are:

division as grouping

division as sharing equally

multiplication and division as the inverse of each other

Finally using the multiplication and division sign.

All pretty sound ‘Numeracy’ stuff aimed at improving understanding of multiplication and division. The graphics would be appreciated by at least 6 to 8 year olds. There are three levels of difficulty, which are easily accessible so you could opt for the easy option to gain rewards with less effort. You can also save your progress.

Kids would love the bright and noisy screens. Only two problems with my version: I could only run it on 800×600 and the voice of Lenny Henry, but that’s purely a personal opinion.

Officially priced at £9.99 but can be picked up on Amazon for less.
